Grand Targhee has always had a special place in my heart. Since I was about 5 years old, when my parents schlepped me there during a storm chasing episode in the early 80s, Targhee has always been my personal spiritual mecca. I spend no less than 10 hours a week looking at property in Driggs and the surrounding areas debating if I should just say “fuck it”, sell everything I own here in Utah, and … um, leave Utah for pow?? Haha, who leaves Utah for pow? For Targhee, one moves out of Utah.

Here’s a little early season stoke for y’all who dream of the Tetons on a daily basis. Crack open a bottle of wine, turn on the speakers, and kick those feet back. Winter is here bitches!

Wendy and I have started an annual jendyski breakfast in the lift line on opening day.  This year is the second annual pancake breakfast, complete with celebratory champagne.

Snow making has been going down at Park City Mountain Resort! I am a snow maker and a free-groomer at PCMR and we have had some good cold nights so far.  We are set to open the 23rd of November and are on pace to have a good strong opening day.  We have a great crew this year with people from as far as New Zealand joining us.  We have a 24 hour operation with two crews, swing shift being noon to midnight and graveyard working the opposite.  We are all very excited to see what mother nature brings us and it should be an excellent season!
